We are:

Dr Maryam Atkinson. Chiropractor. Maryam graduated from Chiropractic College in South Africa after completing a six year Masters Degree. She has been in private practice for five years, four in the United Kingdom. Maryam worked in the Fitness Industry during her studies and takes a keen approach to exercise and rehabilitation. Maryam has been married for two years and she and her husband are proud owners of a Bulldog puppy, Marvin. Maryam approaches her patient care with the same vigour and enthusiasm she uses to support her favourite team, Manchester United!

Dr. Manny Azizi.  Chiropractor. Manny graduated from Chiropractic College in South Africa after completing a 6 year Masters Degree. He has recently published clinical research on the use of Chiropractic Care in the management of shoulder disorders and has always been interested in Sports Chiropractic. Socially Manny enjoys gym, football and tennis. Manny approaches his patient care with great enthusiasm and challenges patients to obtain and maintain their optimal health.

Support Staff:

Kate Irwin:  Practise Coordinator. Kate has recently been promoted as a our Practise Coordinator and Kate also practises as a Medical Herbalist (MNIMH).  After completing a 4yr degree in Herbal Medicine, she has worked in an NHS haematology department and in health care recruitment before joining Back to Health.  Kate loves cooking (and eating!), yoga and reading.

Gabriella Avery: Practise Coordinator. Gaby has been (and still is!) a satisfied patient of Dr Maryams, she liked the team so much she decided to join us in May 2007.  Spending 20 yrs in retail has given Gaby skills in providing good customer care, communication and ensuring customers leave satisfied.  Her interests include eating, drinking, singing, netball, yoga and watching TV programmes such as Lost, desperate housewives, 24 and Life on Mars.  The 2 main loves in her life are Madonna, whose career she has followed for 20 years, and her Mini Cooper 1998 Sports pack.  She has 2 cats, Smudge and Sophie and lives with husband Paul.
